Women's Ministries Friendship with other women is vital to the health and well-being of women of all ages. Having the opportunity to share with our “girlfriends” our praises as well as our prayer requests deepens our friendships, emboldens our faith, and strengthens our relationships with God.
The events and activities we sponsor for women, such as the Annual Christmas Connection, OKC First Girlfriends’ Retreat, Mothers & Others Brunch & Fashion Show, and our Girlfriends Time Out fun events provide many opportunities to meet and deepen friendships with other women. We invite ladies not only from our own church, but also from our sister congregations and surrounding community. Women’s Ministries sponsors numerous fundraisers to raise money for service projects, child care for special events, and assist in providing scholarships to those who would otherwise not be able to participate in our activities due to financial constraints. Women’s Ministries sponsors numerous service projects throughout the year to benefit our local church as well as our surrounding community. Through these service projects, we are afforded the opportunity to reach out to others in Christian fellowship and love.
