LEAP (Learning, Enriching, Achieving, Preparing) is a Community Literacy Centers-sponsored program. LEAP focuses on literacy issues by providing on-site training to individuals. All LEAP activities at OKC First Church are free and taught by professional educators and supervised by CLC’s education program coordinator. LEAP trains instructors in phonics-based activities scientifically proven to work with struggling learners. They also are trained to lead a multi-level class, so all learners advance at their own pace.

 

Adults interested in the literacy class can enter the church building from the west parking lot. The classroom is located on the left side of the hall.
